The ideal candidate will have senior management experience in a dynamic setting with a deep understanding of the staffing industry. This role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. This position will work closely with executives and field leadership to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives

  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs

  • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed

  • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

  • Work with department leaders in the development of financial and budgetary plans

  • Share best practices by bringing insights to business unit counterparts and positively contribute to a culture of process excellence

  • Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our organization’s Core Values 

Operational Strategy Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

  • Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and service quality

  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve productivity

  • Monitor and analyze process performance, adjusting as necessary

  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary

  • Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage 

Process Management Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

  • Oversee the management of company resources, including staffing and physical assets

  • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to meet operational needs

  • Manage company properties, ensuring they meet operational requirements and standards.

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies 

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

  • Oversee and manage key projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies

  • Build and support an environment that energizes team members to provide high quality, cost efficient, customer-directed service and exceed performance targets 

System and Vendor Management Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

  • Manage and optimize the use of operational systems and software

  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers

  • Provide regular operational performance reports to senior management and stakeholders 

Resource and Property Management Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

  • Oversee the management of company resources, including staffing and physical assets

  • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to meet operational needs

  • Manage company properties, ensuring they meet operational requirements and standards 

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred

  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations, Human Resources, or similar leadership role within the staffing industry

  • Strong understanding of staffing industry operations, trends, and best practices

  • Must possess innovative leadership, communication, delivery, consultative, partnership, and team building skills

  • Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate

  • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media (i.e., voicemail, phone, email, face-to- face) and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience

  • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines

  • Proven ability to work with private, confidential information while maintaining strict adherence to sharing such information with parties on a limited need to know basis

  • Proven problem-solving skills and analytical abilities; able to identify important aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions

  • Experience in developing budgets and business plans

  • Proficiency in operational software and tools

  • Occasional travel required 

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with utilizing an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and/or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software

  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software

  • Innovate and execute an enterprise vision to build Process Excellence competencies across all end-to-end processes

  • Accountable for delivering process excellence to build the organizational skills and knowledge to design and optimize processes

  • Master’s Degree is a plus, or experience with Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement

  • Experience with EOS

  • Competitive base salary up to $80,000.00
