Bilingual Staffing Services Coordinator – Edinburgh, IN

Diverse Staffing, a Glass Door Places to Work, is seeking ambitious Bilingual Staffing Services Coordinator candidates to work on our internal team at our Edinburgh Recruiting Center. 

As the first face when entering our recruiting center, the Staffing Services Coordinator will champion our best-in-class customer service in person and by phone.  This position requires good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and overall administrative acumen. Compensation for this position is up to $19.00 per hour based on experience and skill set. Your workday will start promptly from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Here are a few of the responsibilities you'll be tasked with as a Staffing Services Coordinator: 

  • Responsible for the operation of one multi-line telephone system in a single location; routing of calls in a prompt and courteous manner; speaking clearly and in a friendly manner at all times

  • Greets visitors and remains stationed at reception area; does not leave the telephones or front desk area unattended at any time; seeking front support from colleagues as situations/breaks warrant

  • Review employee applications to ensure that paperwork is completed in full and free of errors; enter additional missing data into the Applicant Tracking System as needed

  • Place a minimum of 20 employees per day on assignments once new hire paperwork has been completed and job offer has been accepted

  • Partners with Staffing Services team to coordinate delivery, collection, and data entry into system of record for all candidate screening, training and onboarding process documentation

  • Coordinates candidate activity flow for office; maintaining daily testing, screening, and interview schedule

  • Coordinates with the Staffing Services team to compile and submit branch payroll to Accounting Services/Payroll Services and distribution of any weekly manual payroll checks/debit cards

  • Responsible for background check management; including requests, daily status review, saving in Applicant Tracking System and notification of issues to appropriate Staffing Services team member(s)

  • Responsible for acceptance, routing and partnering with Staffing Services Manager on all billable employment verifications received

  • Responsible for partnering with Staffing Services team to understand branch supply and drug screen needs; placing PO request on as needed basis

  • Assists with administrative duties; such as data entry, copying, faxing, scanning, event coordination and mass mailings

  • Takes accurate messages and manages faxes; notifying departments when faxes are received for immediate retrieval.

  • Signs for and receives all in-coming packages and distributes packages and faxes promptly upon receipt.

  • Straightens reception areas, including ensuring front revolving door is unlocked and locked at beginning and end of the day

Essential Skills

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, required

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Proven proficiency and accuracy with data entry; Legible handwriting

  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office software

  • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media (i.e. voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively
