The Director Staffing Services

is responsible for the overall success of multiple branches in the assigned area of jurisdiction, to include operations (delivery) and client services (sales). Additionally, the Staffing Services Director is responsible for growing and expanding business opportunities with existing clients, seeking out additional opportunities, partnering with branch delivery and local CSM, the Executive Team and impacted staffing team(s) on design of streamlined delivery processes to ensure we achieve the highest standard of quality based upon client requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversight of assigned area to include delivery and client services, for multiple branches and staffing team fulfillment against client requirements

  • Drive client services (sales) efforts for CSM’s in your market

  • Growth of existing market through client services and delivery efforts, identifying onsite partnership opportunities, current client expansion and retention

  • Ensure profitability and growth of branches within your area.

  • Assist in the development, coaching and training of new CSM hires.  Partner with Client Services Managing Director to identify areas of opportunity for CSM’s in you area

  • Maintain client business relationships with a “customer for life” approach; seeking opportunities to expand business with current customers, resolving customer issues in a timely and effective manner and periodically soliciting client feedback to monitor customer satisfaction

  • Solicit and write proposals working with sales and accounting for proper pricing of RFPs/ RFQs/ RFIs related to additional business opportunities within existing client base; Deal with internal staff problems/complaints in a timely manner

  • Provide oversight of all locations and staff under jurisdiction, including coaching, motivating, and directing to ensure quality delivery and compliance against client requirements

  • Assist Managers and branch staff with proactively identifying, analyzing and trouble-shooting client service issues; Assist branch with executing service strategies and processes to resolve systemic business issues effectively and efficiently

  • Partner with company management to develop Sales Forecast/Projections/Budgets for multiple branches

  • Establishment of client retention and client service goals as well as attaining a performance level that meets or exceeds such goals for each branch through personal efforts and managing a result-oriented team

  • In partnership with the management team, implement and ensure branches adhere to all company policies and guidelines set forth by management, holding staff accountable for results

  • Manage and maintain P&L statement for all branches under supervision, controlling expenses, unemployment claims, and workers compensation costs at or below budget

  • Manage internal staff problems/complaints in a timely and effective manner; “lead by example” and “servant leadership” through your own personal work ethic and effort; escalating any concerns to HR

Essential Role Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in staffing, manufacturing, or logistics industries in a management role

  • A proven track record (with measurable results) of growing multiple branches/areas you directly oversaw in a past similar role

  • 4+ years’ experience in a consultative, client facing management role (i.e., sales, customer service, account management, consulting, service industry, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients, and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience.

  • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise, and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively

  • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines

  • Proven problem-solving skills; able to identify important aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions

  • Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate

  • Able to occasionally travel to recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
